The Effingham Public Library sponsors a costume swap!

Join the Effingham Public Library on Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. as we participate in National Costume Swap Day. Participants are invited to take a costume, leave a costume, or simply clean out the kids’ dress up box. A donation from a generous library patron means that we will have a good selection of costumes from the very start, but your involvement will ensure that the day is a success!

National Costume Swap Day began in 2010 as an event sponsored by Green Halloween, an organization founded in 2007to promote healthier and Earth-friendly holidays. Community costume swap events are now being held all over the United States. And those who visit us for the costume swap can get information on upcoming programs and events, including our Children’s Halloween Party, to be held on Saturday, October 28th!

The Library is located at 30 Town House Road in Center Effingham, just up the hill from the intersection of Town House Road and Province Lake Road (Route 153 South), in the Historic Effingham Town Hall.
For more information on the costume swap, call the Library at 603-539-1537 or send an email to effinghamlibrary@gmail.com.
