CAB Annual Events

Spring Celebration

This event is held the last Sunday of April or the first Sunday in May. Cornish Association of Businesses (CAB) created this event to help market any local area business that is just opening or who is featuring a re-opening, expansion, new merchandise, new location, etc. CAB provides food and entertainment as well as marketing of the event which can be held at the featured business' location or another venue. Tickets are sold and an average of 50 people attend.

This event features:

• Live local entertainment
• Catered food from a featured local restaurant
• Silent auction of local businesses' merchandise and services
• Door prize

The Cornish Strawberry Festival

This FREE festival is held every year last Saturday in June or the first Saturday in July.

Thompson Park is the center of the day’s festivities featuring:

• Live Entertainment
• Booths of Arts & Crafts
• Strawberry Products & Food
• Much More

The Cornish Apple Festival

This FREE festival is held every year on the last Saturday in September.

Thompson Park is the center of the day’s festivities featuring:

• Booths of Arts & Crafts
• Apple Products & Food
• Apple Pie Contest & Auction
• 5K Road Race – Adult & Youth
• Church Supper
• Annual Apple Acres Farm Bluegrass Gathering
• Much More

Christmas In Cornish

This event is usually held on the first Friday and Saturday in December. This event allows people to "buy" a tree light in memory of a loved one or simply to recognize an individual's accomplishments. A list of honored names is placed at the Thompson Park kiosk and an ad is ran in the Shopping Guide.

This event features:

Friday:

• Tree lighting
• Carol singing
• Hot Cocoa

Saturday:

• Local Shops offering special discounts and goodies
• Free horse drawn carriage/sleigh rides
• Choir singing and/or local community band playing in Thompson park

Saturday:

• Cornish Historical Society High Tea or other events
