After a long day of travel and outdoor activity, you'll want to find a very comfortable and convenient place to stay for the night, the weekend, or longer. If you prefer inn lodging, you'll love our 19th century country inn. But if you enjoy the motel life instead, then be sure to reserve your room(s) at our 3-diamond rated motel. We also have a riverside campground, nestled in the pines, which offers RV and tenting sites by the night or season. Now we all know that outdoor activities work up a pretty hefty appetite. We have a great selection of eateries that will satisfy even the most discerning palate. If you just want some fast food, we have convenience stores where you'll find pretty much everything you're looking for. But if you want an enjoyable, sit-down dining experience, our restaurants are second to none. In fact, many people drive the 45-minute trip from the coast of Maine or the 45-minute drive from the Mt. Washington Valley of New Hampshire to specifically enjoy the delicious meals on our menus.

Krista's Restaurant

Hearty & Eclectic Fare

Our family opened krista’s on May 19, 2004 in a space leased from the Cornish Inn. We had been catering for about five years and were outgrowing our space. We felt that a restaurant was a natural progression but we knew that in order to be successful we had to be many things to many people, Cornish is a little small for niche food! We started with breakfast and lunch, then moved on to dinner a couple months later. The plan worked! We have a thriving business that has grown by word of mouth, the best possible advertising possible

Hours:

  • Thursday through Sunday - visit our Web site or call for details.

Bear has a king and a twin cupboard bed. No minimum nights stay, but we do have special rates for weekly rentals. No additional charge for extra people. No pets. Non-smoking. Each cottage has a DVD/VCR TV and a library of movies, books, board games and puzzles.

The Winston Browne Housekeeping Cottage is available year round. It has a fully equipped kitchen with a three-season sunroom attached. It has a monitor heater, two air conditioners and a portable fan. The private back bedroom has a queen bed. The open floor plan second bedroom has another queen bed and an upholstered chaise lounge. Oak Hill Farm has 120 acres to explore. A 45-minute hike will take you to the 1300 ft. summit of Oak Hill on well marked paths. A troll bridge leads to the 10-acre Birch Meadow Ridge sugarbush. The Oak Hill Farm Barn Store sells our own High Acres Maple Syrup and Oak Hill Farm Herbal Teas.
