After a long day of travel and outdoor activity, you'll want to find a very comfortable and convenient place to stay for the night, the weekend, or longer. If you prefer inn lodging, you'll love our 19th century country inn. But if you enjoy the motel life instead, then be sure to reserve your room(s) at our 3-diamond rated motel. We also have a riverside campground, nestled in the pines, which offers RV and tenting sites by the night or season. Now we all know that outdoor activities work up a pretty hefty appetite. We have a great selection of eateries that will satisfy even the most discerning palate. If you just want some fast food, we have convenience stores where you'll find pretty much everything you're looking for. But if you want an enjoyable, sit-down dining experience, our restaurants are second to none. In fact, many people drive the 45-minute trip from the coast of Maine or the 45-minute drive from the Mt. Washington Valley of New Hampshire to specifically enjoy the delicious meals on our menus.

Hearty & Eclectic Fare

Our family opened krista’s on May 19, 2004 in a space leased from the Cornish Inn. We had been catering for about five years and were outgrowing our space. We felt that a restaurant was a natural progression but we knew that in order to be successful we had to be many things to many people, Cornish is a little small for niche food! We started with breakfast and lunch, then moved on to dinner a couple months later. The plan worked! We have a thriving business that has grown by word of mouth, the best possible advertising possible

International Pizza Challenge (Winners)

Brian, Rachel, Dennis, and Danielle St. Saviour recently attended the international Pizza Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada. On March 3rd, 2010 they competed against 120 other teams in pizza-making expertise. They entered Sacopee Valley House of Pizza and Lake Region House of Pizza's popular "Big Mack" pizza and scored their best tasting and best looking pizza in the entire Eastern Time Zone. They had ten minutes to prepare two pizzas in front of the judges. One pizza was for the judges, the other was for the audience to sample. There were strict timed goals to be met. Any team that did not present their pizzas at their exact allotted time was disqualified. The competition floor was filled with tension and chaos with other teams also trying to meet their timed goals. The toughest competitors and highest scorers came from the eastern division, and Sacopee Valley/Lake Region House of Pizza was third best. Worldwide their "Big Mack" pizza entry ranked ninth, outscoring teams from Italy, France, Japan, Indonesia, Canada, and all across the United States.
