Our three open-floor-plan lodges (Eagle Lodge, Bear Lodge and Wolf Lodge) are open April 1 through Thanksgiving. They have cathedral ceilings, private decks, large shower stall with seat in a spacious bath, whimsically decorated. Individual heat, air conditioning and overhead fan. Coffee station, mini refrigerator, microwave. Non smoking. Pet friendly.

The Winston Browne Cottage is a one bedroom housekeeping cottage open year round. It has a fully equipped kitchen, upper living room with a sofa bed, lower living room with a second sofa bed and a queen bed in the bedroom. Large shower stall in a spacious bath. Heat and air conditioning. No pets please. Non-smoking.

Each cottage with a DVD/VCR TV and a library of movies, books, board games and puzzles.

Oak Hill Farm has 120 acres to explore. A 45 minute hike will take you to the 1300 ft. summit of Oak Hill on well marked paths. We have a troll bridge and Ted the Talking Husky will entertain you. Oak Hill Farm is also home to High Acres Maple Syrup and Oak Hill Farm Herbal Teas available for purchase is our Barn Store. The store will be opened any time someone requests it.

Sugarhouse and Barn Store

Large maple syrup operation is available for sugarhouse tours year round as well as during the sugaring season (February and March). At the end of March, on Maine Maple Syrup Sunday weekend, we host a two-day pancake breakfast from 7:30-1:00 in our heated barn. We can and do seat 65 people at a time. The sugarhouse is surrounded by asphalt so there is no mud. The Barn Store is stocked with High Acres Maple Syrup in glass bottles and plastic jugs, as well as maple sugar candy, maple sugar coated peanuts and Oak Hill Farm Herbal Teas (Dreamers Blend and Rat Race Remedy are our most popular.) There are other maple syrup and herbal related gift items and postcard reproductions of many of Sue Melanson’s watercolors.

Uptown Boutique, a specialty clothing store, which is nestled into the downtown area of Cornish, brings a different venue to the area. Elizabeth Libby is the shoppe keeper, originally from the coast of Maine she fell in love with the antique aura of the area. Elizabeth started her business, Brazier Place, out of the barn attached to her house in Hiram, ME., selling vintage and antique pieces. There are quiet a few places to find antiques in the area so she needed to do something different. Elizabeth was a retailing major and decided it was time to use some of that training since she was tired of driving to Windham or North Conway to find any clothing stores. Hence, UpTown Boutique at Brazier Place became a reality.

UpTown Boutique carries clothing appropriate to the area, gloves, hats, scarves, jackets but also carries great dress clothes for any special occasion. We have knee highs, leggings, April Cornell nighties, jeans, jackets, Willow sweaters and Bud to Rose jewelry. Plenty of gift items and wonderful cards printed in Rangely and Brunswick, Maine also from New Hampshire.
